POSITIONING OF REED SWITCH AND MAGNET TO MATCH THE SELECTED CONTROLLER

If using the LD2000-A, LD2040, or LD2048 controller set the reed switches and magnets as indicated in in blue.

If using the LD2041 or LD2042 controller set the reed switches and magnets as indicated in red as this will maximize the visual effect of fade-in and fade-out as the door opens and softly closes.

STANDARD INSTALLATION
Reed switch and magnet are fixed in close proximity at 90 degrees with an absolute maximum gap of 30mm. The reed switch is placed into a 10*10*35mm rebate in the carcass and the magnet is placed in a 10*40mm hole in the door.
 

 
The top of the magnet should be level with the bottom of the reed switch as indicated for maximum sensitivity.

 
ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION OF REED SWITCHES AND MAGNETS WHEN SPACE IS LIMITED
If the LED extrusion is close to the front of the cabinet the reed switches can be positioned parallel to the front edge as shown.

 
Reed switches should be positioned less than 5mm from the front edge with absolute maximum gap to magnet of 25mm.
The top of the magnet should be level with the bottom of the reed switch as indicated for maximum sensitivity.
