LD2048 THREE CHANNEL DC CONTROLLER

Heavy duty DC controller for use with Lightdream’s reed switches – LD1400, LD1401, LD1402, LD1403 and LD1416. Up to 15A load spread across three channels.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS & TROUBLESHOOTING
CONNECTING POWER
1. All three channels are switched on or off simultaneously. Open any door, all channels switch on, close all doors, all channels switch off.

2. When used for heavy duty – load up to 15A
Connecting power to the controller
12/24VDC positive (+) connects to the black wire
12/24VDC negative (-) connects to the red, green and blue wires.
Outgoing power to the LED strip/s
Connect the controller OUTPUT + to the + (positive) of the LED strip/s.
Connect the controller OUTPUT’s 1,2 & 3 to the – (negative) of the LED strip/s.
3. When used to control three separate loads.
Conect to re(+) on the black wire connects through to the OUTPUT (+) screw terminal.
Incoming negative (-) on the red wire connects through to OUTPUT 1
Incoming (-) on green wire connects through to OUTPUT 2
Incoming (-) on blue wire connects through to OUTPUT 3
CONNECTING THE REED SWITCHES
A. Remove a jumper on one of the four inputs and plug in the first reed switch. Plug is non-polarized and can be plugged in either way.
B. Repeat for additional reed switches. Jumpers to remain on unused inputs.
C. Ensure there are no other magnetic sources within 150mm of the reed switches.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Is a reed switch or black jumper plugged in on all four inputs?
- Is polarity correct for input and output power?
- Connect the LED light directly to the power supply and check if working ok?
- To test the controller, disconnect all reed switches and plug in all four jumpers supplied. The LED light should now be off. Next, remove any jumper and the LED light should now be on.
- Connect one reed switch at a time and test.
- Are the magnets in the doors? – check with metallic object.
- Are there any other magnetic sources within 150mm of the reed switches?
