INSTRUCTIONS & TROUBLESHOOTING

INSTALLATION
1. Connections
Power-in: 12/24VDC, labelled INPUT or red marked cable, trace (+)
Power-out to LED light: 3A max., labelled OUTPUT or yellow marked cable, trace (+)
Maximum load: 36W @ 12V, 72W @ 24V
Sensor-Switches can be connected in parallel.

2. Position magnet directly inline with sensor-switch.

3. Installation with cylindrical magnet – working gap 20mm max.
Top of magnet to be level with bottom of sensor-switch for maximum sensitivity.
Magnet dimensions: D9.5mm x L30mm

4. Installation with dome magnet – working gap 30mm max.
Magnet to be as high as possible for maximum sensitivity.
Magnet dimensions: D16mm x H6.5mm

5. Installation with cuboid magnet – working gap 40mm max.
Magnet to be as high as possible for maximum sensitivity.
Magnet dimensions: L28mm x W15mm x H6mm

TROUBLE SHOOTING

  • Is the supplied magnet within the correct range of the sensor-switch?
  • Is the magnet directly inline with the sensor-switch?
  • Is the polarity reversed? Connect LED light directly to the power to ensure power and LED light connections are correct.
  • Has the output been short-circuited? A short-circuit on the output may cause unit failure.
