Miniature PIR Motion Sensor For Home Automation and Alarm Systems
The LD1428 miniature PIR motion sensor is a compact passive infrared detector designed for discreet use in home automation and alarm system applications. When motion is detected, the sensor’s normally open (N.O.) solid-state contacts close for approximately 2.5 seconds, and continue to stay closed if movement persists within its detection zone. Each subsequent detection during the active period restarts the timing cycle, ensuring consistent coverage and responsiveness.
With a detection range of 2–3 metres, this sensor is ideal for cabinet lighting, intruder detection, and minimalist appearance where a standard PIR would be too large or visually intrusive. It is designed for flush mounting and is supplied in black or white with a matching lens for a clean, unobtrusive appearance.
