AC Controller for use with Lightdream Reed Switches

This controller is specifically designed to switch mains power for cabinet lighting and is controlled by door activated reed switches. The controller can be configured as either a single channel controller with four inputs or a two channel controller with two inputs each. The reed switches that can be used with this controller include LD1400, LD1401, LD1402, LD1403 & LD1416. Additionally, if a door is left open, a timer will automatically turn off the power.

Technical

  • For use with reed switches LD1400, LD1401, LD1402, LD1403 and LD1416. Configuration brochure
  • 2m & 4m extension cables are available LD1563 and LD1564.
  • You can configure the controller to work with either a single load or two individual loads by using the DIP switch to select between a single-channel and a two-channel configuration. Additionally, each controller can accommodate up to four reed switches, which can be connected in two different ways. If you’re using a two-channel configuration, you can connect up to two reed switches per channel. Alternatively, if you’ve opted for a single-channel configuration, you can connect all four reed switches to that single channel.
  • For a single channel configuration connect the load to Load A. For two channel configuration connect one load to Load A and the other load to Load B. For two channel configuration inputs 1 & 2 control Load A and inputs 3 & 4 control Load B.
  • Controller switches 240VAC @ 2A. Maximum load across both channels 500W.
  • Adjustable timer settings up to 30 minutes allow the device to switch off automatically if a door is left open or not fully closed.
  • Specifically designed for a four door, two cabinet wardrobe.
  • Additional reed switches can be connected by using the 6 port expansion dongle LD1420.
