For use with Lightdream’s range of reed switches.

Designed to fade-in/fade-out cabinet lighting as the door is opened and softly closes. Other benefits include a timer to switch off the light if a door is left open and dimming. For use with 12/24V LED lighting in conjunction with Lightdream reed switches – LD1400, LD1401 or LD1402. Integrates with 3rd party LED lights and drivers.

Expanding the system

Add-ons include

  • 2/4m extension cables for the reed switches LD1563,
  • Splitter cables to allow multiple controllers connected to a single DC power source LD1562
  • 6 port expansion modules when there are more than four doors LD1420.
  • Can also add on additional controllers to the one power supply as well as additional LED lights in parallel with the output.

Application Sheet

  • Set the reed switches 1/3 the distance from the hinge side to early activate the fade-out.
  • Fade-in/fade-out variable, 0 – 5 s.
  • Timer settings: 5m, 15m, 30m, infinity.
  • To dim the light simply close and reopen the door within four seconds. Repeat this action to return to full brightness.
  • Input power can be either from a power adapter using the plug socket
    OR
    hardwire directly from a 12V or 24V LED Driver using the terminals marked INPUT.
  • Input/Output Power: 12/24VDC @ 5A, maximum LED load 60W @ 12V or 120W @ 24V.
  • For use in conjunction with LD1400, LD1401 or LD1402 reed switches.
  • Connect up to four reed switches to control a single LED fixture. Open any door light on, close all doors light off.
  • Additional reed switches can be added by using the 6 port expansion module LD1420.
  • All inputs are connected in series. Break the series loop and the controller switches on. Reed switch contacts are closed with a magnet present.
