Surface Mounted Reed Switch & Magnet System For Joinery Lighting
The LD1402 reed switch and magnet kit is a surface-mounted version of our concealed door switch range.
Designed for quick installation or retrofitting, both the reed switch and magnet are secured using 0.17 mm thick, 3M double-sided adhesive pads — simply peel and stick. The switch is fixed to the carcass, and the magnet is fixed to the door.
The reed switch is plugged into a Lightdream controller which then switches the power from the LED driver to the LED strip as the cabinet doors are opened and closed.
Up to four reed switches can be plugged into a single controller with a 6 port expansion dongle available to have up to nine doors controlling a single light.
