Surface Mounted Reed Switch & Magnet System For Joinery Lighting
The LD1402 reed switch and magnet kit is a surface-mounted version of our concealed door switch range.
Designed for quick installation or retrofitting, both the reed switch and magnet are secured using 0.17 mm thick, 3M double-sided adhesive pads — simply peel and stick. The switch is fixed to the carcass, and the magnet is fixed to the door.
When installed, the reed switch can be used to switch 12/24 VDC or 240 VAC. Controllers can be simple on/off or have fade-in/fade-out, plus there are options to automatically turn off the lights should a door be left open or dim the light if it is too bright.
Up to four reed switches can be plugged into a single controller with a 6 port expansion dongle available to have up to nine doors controlling a single light.
