Dual Reed Switch & Magnet Kit For Two-Door Joinery Lighting
The LD1416 reed switch and magnet kit is designed specifically for two-door joinery installations where a single 2-wire (figure-8) cable has been pre-wired into the top of the cabinet. It features two reed switches — one for each door — housed in a compact enclosure for easy, central mounting.
The unit is placed over the figure-8 cable and stuck in place with peel & stick 3M pads. The cable is soldered directly to the two terminal tabs inside the unit, after which the cover is snapped on for a tidy finish. Supplied with two dome magnets, which are attached to each door with peel & stick 3M pads as well.
A short cable with a plug is included to be connected to the other end of the figure 8 cable to allow it to be plugged into a Lightdream controller which then switches the power from the LED driver to the LED strip as the cabinet doors are opened and closed.

Dual reed switch mounts to the cabinet carcass using a peel-and-stick 3M adhesive pad.

Incoming two-wire cable is soldered to the reed switch unit.

The opposite end of the cable is soldered to the supplied 100 mm connection lead, which plugs directly into the controller.

Magnet attaches to the cabinet door with a peel-and-stick 3M adhesive pad (as shown in diagram).
