Invisible Door Switch System For Joinery Lighting

The LD1400 is our most popular reed switch and magnet kit due to being invisible when installed. One kit is required per door.

When installed, the reed switch is plugged into a Lightdream controller which switches the power from the LED driver to the LED strip as the cabinet doors are opened and closed.

Up to four reed switches can be plugged into a single controller with a 6 port expansion dongle available to have up to nine doors controlling a single light.

Installation is typically completed in two stages: at the factory, CNC machinery is used to route the rabate for the reed switch and drills the hole into the edge of the door. Onsite, the electrician completes the connections to the controller, LED driver and LED strip.

Technical Details

• Installation: The reed switch is recessed into the cabinet carcass and the magnet into the door. Rebates are typically machined with CNC equipment during manufacture.
